AFL Fantasy News: Michael Hurley

Rising Star winner 2010: An injury or two, and some strange thinking by Coach Knights, should mean that Hurley doesn't play enough games this season to make him ineligible for next year's Rising Star award. Guaranteed, well nearly, he will win it.

This year, for fantasy AFL, Hurley can be very helpful, assuming that Essendon finally decide to play him. His low price will make him useful in all fantasy games, his kicking ability probably makes him an effective SuperCoach player. You can wait another week when he does play as his price won't change yet.

Bachar Houli, Michael Hurley and James Flaherty were stand outs in what was a tough game for the side.

"Houli's competitive edge was really good today, and Hurley worked hard all day, playing forward and back, especially on Casey's Brad Miller," Hickmott said.
