AFL Fantasy News: Daniel Currie

Currie Man Injured: Currie may not debut this season, which could make him a player to have on the bench next season as he will still be cheap. It also means White and Pyke, who is still at a low price, will have less competition for a spot in the team. Although neither of them played last round, one of them should be back to help Jolly and there could be times when both of them are in the team with Jolly.

Swan Currie can’t take a trick

SYDNEY Swans ruckman Daniel Currie says he plans to play again this season despite being sidelined for six weeks with a stress fracture in his right foot.

The mobile young tall impressed in the first half of the season for the Swans reserves, alternating between centre half-forward and the ruck.

Sydney Swans facing future without a full-forward

Jesse White, 21, kicked 8.6 in the reserves last weekend and the 190cm tall youngster will almost certainly be asked back to the senior team.

The other long-term hope for the Swans is 193cm Lewis Johnston, 18, who impressed in last year's under-18 championships by taking the most contested marks.
